This is the orphanage, known as a "Baby Home" in the town of Blagoveschensk, Russia. The children here range from newborn to 3 years. After 3, they move to the older children's home. At the time Jack was there, there were approximately 120 children.
This is where Jack spent the first 21 months of his life. Although it's rundown and they are very poor, the workers really love the children and do the best they can with what they have. We are very thankful that Jack had them in his life, they loved him very much and it showed. |
